FIRST AID TRAINING COURSE by Catherine Tye
The club have organised a First Aid Course for any members that would like to gain a First Aid qualification or to renew a qualification that has expired or is due to expire shortly.
The course- which is recognised by the RYA- covers Emergency first aid incorporating the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) syllabus tailored to the outdoor environment to meet requirements of RYA , BCU (Aquatic Level 1) course syllabus
RYA First Aid Certificates upon completion of the course are then valid for 3 years.
This has always proven to be a popular event and good fun whilst learning an invaluable life skill. The course is presented by Catherine Tye, RN, SPOH, Occupational Health Advisor, Harmony Health & Wellbeing Ltd.
The cost to members of Slaughden Sailing Club is £60 per person excluding lunch but including refreshments. This is great value for a full day of invaluable hands-on training. Spaces are limited.
