    Arctic Antics - Winter Paddling

    The Kayakers braved the cold just before Xmas with an array of festive hats. Unfortunately the weather was too bad for the normal New Years day sail and paddle but some did brave the weather for Turkey Sandwiches at the club.

    Christmas Lunch : Dec 2025

    A traditional Christmas lunch was again served at the club for 36 people. This was a huge success with thanks to the many volunteers that helped prepare the food across the kitchens of Aldeburgh. There was a lot of competition for the best Christmas outfit with Peter Crabb taking the coveted prize of the stalk of Brussel sprouts.

  • Defibrillator

    The club now has a defibrillator which is located between the two changing rooms. This was kindly donated by the charity RALPHH after lots of hard work and research from Simon Cusworth.

  • Talk On Tides

    Tony Ellison gave a very interesting talk on tides at the club which was well attended and all found both useful and fascinating.

  • AGM 2025

    The AGM was held in November. The full minutes are available on the web-site. In addition to all the the prizes that were given out for sailing kayaking and the Photo Competition, the new prize in memory of Hugh Browton for the most volunteer shifts on the Power Boat in the year went to Gareth Jones.
