Covid Update November 2020

The calendar sailing season has now ended for 2020 just before the latest Government announcements regarding a November lock down.

The main clubhouse is now Out of Bounds in accordance with Public Health Guidance that states that outdoor sports centres including water sports must be closed. However access to the toilet facilities is permitted for any members that choose to exercise in the vicinity, for building and maintenance or in the case of emergency.

Decision making on whether to visit the club transfers to the member over this phase noting that we are now in lock down. All signage continues to apply.

Members planning to collect or secure their boats over winter must pass the challenge on whether their journey is essential as non- essential journeys should be avoided.

The next main event at Slaughden is the Artic Antic race on New Years Day where arrangements will be advised nearer the time.
