River Deben paddle, Woodbridge to Ufford - CANCELLED Cancelled

Sadly this event is cancelled. The winds are a little higher than ideal and it's so cold it wouldn't be a fun trip - sorry!

Whilst the Alde is beautiful it's lovely to explore other rivers too so come and explore the upper reaches of the River Deben.

Launch from Roberstons boat yard (Lime Kiln Quay Rd, Woodbridge IP12 1BD) at 10:00am. Robertsons is a commercial premises and all boats will need to pay a £10 launching fee on the day.

Go with the tide to Ufford where we can stop for a quick picnic before coming back with the falling tide (high tide 14:00). Approx 8Km, paddlers must be able to transport their own kayaks to and from Woodbridge.

This may be cancelled at the last minute due to high winds or bad weather
