Covid Roadmap for Slaughden Sailing Club

Following recent updates from the Government, PHE and the RYA please find a re-cap of where we are at Slaughden Sailing Club.

Track and Trace - The club will continue to operate a Track and Trace policy until otherwise advised.

  • All members visiting the club should continue to sign in / out on every visit either using the book outside the South door entrance or online as previously advised. Online via < http://visit.slaughden.com
  • Toilet facilities will remain open at the club but the main club house will remain out of bounds
  • Please follow all signage at the club

Gatherings and Social Distancing from 17th May

Members can meet in groups of up to 30 outdoors so race numbers can be extended

Members should continue to respect the 2 metre rule

6 people or 2 households can meet indoors so the clubhouse will be formerly open.

Clubhouse galley can reopen.2 metre rule must be respected so only one member in the galley at any one time.

Gatherings and Social Distancing from 21st June

All legal limits on social contact will be removed.

Club organised RYA training can reconvene which will include RYA L1 & L2 dinghy training

RYA L1 & L2 Power boat training can reconvene or sooner subject to RYA guidance where students are from the same household.

All these conditions are all subject to the statistics regarding the infection rate.
