ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SLAUGHDEN SAILING CLUB
Following the guidance from the Government on the 23rd March 2020 the following measures have been taken by the club
- Dinghy Park and Supplementary work parties Saturday 28th March Postponed
- Committee Meeting Friday 3rd April - Cancelled
- Power boat refresher courses Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th April - Postponed
- Slipway Washdown Saturday 11th April Cancelled
The Committee insist that club members adhere to the latest advice from the Government and Public Health England. Therefore, and in order to support the principle of the latest Government advice the Club house will be 'Out of Bounds' for the Next 3 Weeks with immediate effect.
We await to hear whether the measures implemented by the Government are having the desired effect. Further communication will follow regrading arrangements at the club linked to continuing Government guidance.
It is noted that our sailing race series is due to commence towards the end of this 3-week period. The club should be able to update members regarding the status of these events nearer the time.
