Coronavirus Covid - 19

The recommendation from Slaughden Sailing Club regarding the spread of coronavirus is for members to continue to be guided by the latest advice that can be found on the Governments website and Public Health England.

Individuals circumstances will be different so our recommendation would be to follow the latest advice (refer below links) and for you to decide the most appropriate course of action to fit your circumstance and or the circumstance of an event.

The Government have published an action plan to contain and delay the possible spread of the virus with advice for Community Sports Clubs. This is so we can all continue to enjoy our sport as much as possible during this outbreak. We would ask you all to follow this advice.

The status of events that feature in our calendar will be managed on a case by case basis with the latest information populated on the website regarding cancellations and postponement. Those members that have booked onto an event will be informed accordingly of specific change.

- This is a dynamic situation and so the status of events can change at short notice.
- The club house will remain open and the Committee have arranged for additional cleaning to be undertaken with regard the wiping down of handle, taps etc However If any member has or have been associated with any person that has virus symptoms they should not attend club events nor visit the club.
