It's nice to be greeted by a colourful and interesting page whenever you start up your browser. If you think that this describes the portal page provided by your Internet Service Provider, then fair enough; read no further. If you want a change, however, then this is the way to set the SSC home page to load at start up. The details are slightly different for each browser, so follow the instructions for yours. (And if you haven't tried Firefox yet, then do give it a go!).
In the IE main menu select Tools, Internet Options, General and replace the Home page Address: item with http://www.slaughdensailingclub.co.uk/ . If you are on the SSC homepage when you open the menu, then you can just click on the Use Current button. Click OK to finish.
In the Firefox main menu select Tools, Options, General and replace the homepage Location(s): item with http://www.slaughdensailingclub.co.uk/ . If you are on the SSC homepage when you open the menu, then you can just click on the Use Current Page button. Click OK to finish.
In the Safari main menu select Preferences, General and then replace the Home Page: item with http://www.slaughdensailingclub.co.uk/. Close the preferences window and the job's done.
In the Opera main menu select Navigation, Set home page. Replace the Global home page: field with http://www.slaughdensailingclub.co.uk, or click on Use active if you're already viewing SSC home. Click OK to finish.
In the Mozilla main menu select Edit, Preferences and in the Home page Location: box type http://slaughdensailingclub.co.uk. Click OK to finish.
Navigate to the SSC home page then select Settings from the menu and click on Save View Profile Web Browser.
